Samsung GX-1S digital camera
Samsung strikes back with its new camera, the Samsung GX-1S which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 16/1/06. The Samsung GX-1S was initially targeted at a retail price of 691in North America, a very fair price. The GX-1S offers a maximum resolution of 3008 x 2008. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2400 x 1600, 1536 x 1024. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Samsung GX-1S is set at 3:2, for a total of 6.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the GX-1S is a CCD measuring only 23.5 x 15.7 mm having a RGB color filter.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the GX-1S is 30 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds. The LCD implemented in the GX-1S diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
