Samsung is back with its new model, the Samsung S830 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 09/2/07. This nice camera measures 100 x 62 x 27 mm and weights 220 g. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3072 x 2304, 2816 x 2112, 2592 x 1944, 2272 x 1704, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the S830 is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Samsung included a digital zoom on the S830 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .

The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the S830 was set at 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1500 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Samsung S830 has an internal storage space of 45 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the S830 measures 2.7 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
